Originally printed in 1993 as part of the Alpha set, and later reprinted in the Unlimited edition, this card has transcended time, trends, and even the game itself to become a symbol of power, rarity, and prestige. This Unlimited edition, graded PSA 7, offers the perfect balance of quality, legacy, and desirability. Over thirty years since its creation, the Black Lotus continues to dominate the global collector market as one of the most iconic cards ever made. ## Why It’s So Special The allure of the Black Lotus is both symbolic and technical. It’s one of the few cards in Magic’s history that, for a cost of zero mana, allows the player to generate three mana of any color—a game-changing advantage right from the first turn. Because of this immense power, it was quickly banned from most official tournaments, only fueling its legendary status. Its sacred-like text reads: “Add 3 mana of any single color of your choice to your mana pool, then is discarded. Tapping this artifact can be played as an interrupt.” To millions of fans, these words sound like a legendary spell. Technical Details - Set: Unlimited - Year: 1993 - Grade: PSA 7 (Near Mint) - Card Color: Artifact - Card Text: See above - Global PSA 7 Population: Extremely limited ## Rarity and Collectible Value The Black Lotus Unlimited PSA 7 is a truly rare gem, with only a limited number of copies certified in similar condition. Recent public sales of comparable examples range between $20,000 and $60,000, while Alpha versions graded PSA 10 have crossed the one million dollar mark at auction. It’s a card that transcends gameplay—an enduring cultural icon. ## Why Collect The Black Lotus is more than a card—it’s a cultural artifact, a symbolic masterpiece cherished by collectors, players, investors, and pop culture enthusiasts worldwide. In 2023 alone, the average value of PSA 7 Black Lotus cards increased by +42%, according to aggregated data from Heritage Auctions and PSA Card. These numbers highlight a clear trend: demand is rising, and supply is shrinking. Owning a Black Lotus isn’t just for connoisseurs. It’s a statement. It’s about holding a cultural icon that defined an entire fantasy universe—a cornerstone piece for any world-class collection. ## Why Collect The Black Lotus is more than a card—it’s a cultural artifact, a symbolic masterpiece cherished by collectors, players, investors, and pop culture enthusiasts worldwide.
