Immersed in Burgundy’s authentic atmosphere from an early age, Madame Leroy began working in the family estate in the 1950s, quickly showcasing a unique talent for vineyard selection and terroir expression. In 1988, after differences in vision at Romanée-Conti, she decided to fully dedicate herself to Domaine Leroy, established by merging family properties and acquiring prestigious parcels in the most sought-after Grand Crus of the Côte de Nuits.
